Our client is a leading provider of test equipment for the material and structural testing markets. A global company providing single-source convenience, they manufacture and service products used to test the mechanical properties and performances of various materials, components and structures in a wide array of environments.

1. Support the Programme Director to set and review the engineering wide performance objectives, with focus on program goals to efficiently deliver the Roadmap, Long-range plans and Strategy of the Dynamic Systems business.

2. Participate to the overall design and execution of all Dynamic Systems' strategic projects, primarily focused on Innovation & Engineering & support projects within the Low Force segment.

3. Act as advisor to Program Director on roadmap timelines, resource allocation and changes required, risks to delivery and feasibility of future opportunities.

4. Assign projects to engineers, providing guidance and oversight to ensure successful outcomes

5. Collaborate with other engineering project managers and Program director on current and future Roadmap project planning.

6. Fulfil project manager responsibilities , leading and motivating the team, managing the budget, working closely with the product owner

7. Risk assess activities and areas to prevent incidents.

8. Mentor and support development of engineers for project skill.

9. Participate to continuous improvement to CBI process, procedure, documentation and implementation.

· Excellent engineering project management skills, including Waterfall.

· Ability to build good working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to improve project outcomes

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to mentor and develop technical professionals

Qualifications

· Undergraduate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent with relevant work experience

· Chartered member of IMECHE, Project Management qualification or similar professional organisation. Prince2/APM
