A rare opportunity has become available with a highly respected and growing Geotechnical and Geo-Environmental consultancy based in High Wycombe, who are looking for an experienced Engineering Geologist to fill the role of Assistant Contracts Manager.

Due to an excellent forward looking workload and resulting in a period of sustained growth, this experienced and diverse team based in the North West are looking for an Assistant Contracts manager to come on board to service some exciting and challenging new projects and clients.

For the successful candidate, your main responsibilities will be to run and manage all contracts works across the North west, in addition to the following:

Design of Site Investigations
Tendering for work
Organising subcontractors
Client liaison
Organising and developing a team of site engineersTo be successful in your application, my client is looking for commercially aware and technically experienced candidates with the following attributes:

A degree in a suitable related field eg. Geology, Engineering Geology, Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering
5 Years experience in Geotechnical/Geo-Environmental ground investigation
Experience in Geotechnical report writing and design including foundations, slope stability, earthworks, retaining walls,
Report writing experience, including Phase I and II, interpretive and remediation verification reportsThis position will lead into promotion to Contracts manager, comes with a competitive salary and benefits in addition to a very attractive share scheme.
