We are seeking a Compliance Lead to join a well known retail organisation. It is an opportunity to join a company that is on a journey of digital transformation and investing heavily into their people and technology.
The role will generate and own the strategic roadmap for machine compliance in line with new market entries whilst delivering against test, regulatory and compliance programmes.
Responsibilities
Delivering legal and regulatory compliance of range of self-serve products
Identifying requirements, scoping resource/cost and delivering legal and regulatory compliance for new international markets, in line with our ambitious international growth plans
Exploring, presenting options and making recommendations on how to deliver full regulatory compliance in the most time-efficient way
Leading and managing the execution of our legal and regulatory compliance tests, whether utilising internal (permanent) members of the team, contract resource or third-party teams
Identifying and detailing test requirements (functional tests, regression tests, fringe test cases), etc, covering mechanical, electronic hardware, electrical and software aspects on new developments or enhancements to existing products
Producing and/or approving test plans based on test requirements, including pass/fail criteria, resource requirements, timelines and costs
Producing and/or approving test reports which clearly document the product performance and compliance against the relevant legislation
Identifying and escalating any potential risks when transitioning products to a customer-facing environment
Pro-actively identifying potential changes in legislation and compliance per market
Owning and ensuring the test regime not only satisfies legal and regulatory requirements, but also covers functional performance to demonstrate the product is fit-for-purpose and reliable

Product compliance in international markets and Product certification
Product test and validation, field trial support and volume production rollout
Tenacity to 'stand ground' and not compromise on critical aspects of compliance
Degree qualified in an appropriate Engineering discipline (or appropriate qualification/experience
Engineering Design/Certification of product, Environmental test
3rd party supplier management and negotiation

LOCATION: High Wycombe
SALARY: £50,000 -£60,000 per annum
