Field Based + International Travel.

Attega Group are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join an industry leading business who provides complete solutions for water treatment. Innovating in key areas such as sustainable development, resource and by-product recovery, our differentiating water treatment processes enable us to offer solutions suited to every application.
The role is classified as an in-market field (APAC Region) based role. However, your time will be split between frequent visits to HQ, home and international travel for your specified region. Within this role, you will be required to travel globally and sometimes this may be with short notice. Proper planning and scheduling will reduce short notice frequency.
As the Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the overall volume target specific to your region. Sales and marketing support and advice will be provided to the distributor and the companies network as needed. Support and interaction with Key Accounts assigned to your region for the Pharmaceutical & Clinical key account arenas is critical to the success of the role. During your normal activities, you should consider how and where to spend your time to ensure the volume target is obtained.
Your key responsibility as the Area Sales Manager is to deliver the volumes for the region whilst feeding back to HQ the sales, marketing, and product needs of the market and region. All activity, opportunities, wins, losses, contacts, and so on will be logged into the CRM system.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess the needs of each business unit and advise specific plans and actions to keep.
* track on sales targets
* Create and manage a sales pipeline of key accounts targets and opportunities to achieve individual set financial targets on a quarterly and annual basis.
* Work closely with marketing and product management, developing growth targets and
* appropriate activities.
* Be able to communicate on a multi-level basis and demonstrate high levels of influence both internally at ELGA and externally with your customers.
* Prepare business proposals for internal review and draft sales plans & contracts as required and in cooperation with ELGA colleagues.
* Take the lead in ensuring regular scheduled meetings with existing customers to review relationships and secure long-standing business.
* Maintain a good knowledge of competitor strategy and activity to identify new areas of business growth.
Skills & Experience:
* Fluent in English
* A target-oriented mindset to deliver to agreed sales plans and KPI’s.
* A team player always and conscious of the team dynamic.
* A successful proven track history of growth in business development and/or field-based sales within the selected markets and technical B2B environment is essential.
* Persuasive, influential, and consultative approach when engaging internally with colleagues & externally with clients.
* Adaptable and flexible in regard to modern business practices.
* A passion for ensuring an excellent customer experience.
* Technical competence and excellent problem-solving skills
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office & Google platforms.
* Experience in using CRM software or similar.
* Business conscious and commercially astute.
