Electronics Test Technician, High Wycombe, £24,000pa – £28,000pa plus Benefits:
MARS Recruitment is exclusively recruiting for an Electronics Test Technician on behalf of a key specialist manufacturing client in High Wycombe. This role would suit an Electronics Test Technician who has both electronics and electrical testing experience, ideally with scientific instrumentation or complex medical devices and you will possess the ability to fault find down to component level. If you enjoy fault finding, problem solving and analysis of electronic and electrical devices, then this role is definitely for you.
The Company & Role:
Our client is a leading manufacturer of high technology products which are used by organisations around the world. Sat firmly in the FTSE 250, this exciting business is looking to recruit an Electronics Test Technician as they move one of their exciting product ranges to the High Wycombe site. On a daily basis the Electronics Test Technician will be responsible for testing products and components down to component level, to ensure that their high-tech products meet the agreed quality standards.
About you:
The successful Electronics Test Technician will ideally be qualified with an Electronics or Electrical Engineering qualification, apprenticeship, BTEC
Testing highly technical equipment
Testing electrical and electronic assemblies
Test software
Good IT skills
Use of scopes or VNA's
Surface mount soldering
Able to communicate test findings clearly verbally and written
Worked in manufacturing environment and understands meeting customer demands
Able to work with little written instructions

The interview process will be two stages, an online video interview and an onsite tour.
Please note that for the first 5-6 months, you will be bused to their Oxford site leaving at 8am and returning for 4:30pm, where you learn all about these amazing benchtop scientific instruments.
