Electronics Test Technician, High Wycombe, £15 – £16 per hour, 4-6 months:

Our client is one of the world's leading manufacturers of scientific and research instrumentation. Due to a period of growth, and with lots of exciting new products coming to market, they are urgently looking to recruit an Electronics Test Technician to ensure that their products are assembled correctly and are fully tested to the standards set out by the business before being shipped to their customers around the globe.

The role:

This is a hand's on Electronics Test Technician role which will ideally suit someone who has spent a considerable amount of time working in an Electronics assembly environment, building and soldering PCB's and electronic based products. You will be able to fault find down to component level using a range of testing equipment, like multimeters and oscilloscopes.

About you:

The successful Electronics Test Technician will ideally be educated with an apprenticeship, BTEC, ONC, HNC or HND in Electronics and or Electrical Engineering. You will be passionate about hands on Electronic assembly with experience of PCB assembly, soldering, fault finding down to component level and simple electrical wiring. You will have also used electronics tools like oscilloscopes, vernier's and callipers.
