SENDhelp are excited to offer a new opportunity and are looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to work in one of our friendly and welcoming special needs schools which is conveniently situated off the M40 in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.
This new Teaching Assistant role is located in the outskirts of London our partner school is situated in High Wycombe which is a beautiful, rural town which has heaps of diversity and vibrancy.
The school is a successful special needs school with a strong reputation in both the local area and the wider educational community. Catering for children with complex needs between the ages 11 – 19, our partner school believes in developing educational solutions that are pragmatic and tailored to the individual needs of their pupils.
Your new school is rated 'Good' by Ofsted, and therefore as their new Teaching Assistant you will be joining a motivational environment with a supportive senior leadership team that prioritise investment in their pupils and staff, offering training and professional development helping to further your career
As our new Teaching Assistant, you will be:
* Responsible for planning and delivering learning activities to students, adjusting these activities in accordance with their needs / responses.
* Assess the needs of pupils and establish a productive working relationship with them
* Set targets to pupils and work with them using their individual education programmes (IEP)
* Attend any meetings in relation to the child's social and/ or educational development.
* attending relevant courses / training to develop experience and broaden awareness
