Excellent role for a Software Trainer or Training Consultant with a finance / accounting background. Remote anywhere in the UK, you get to choose your own new technology set up for your home office and you will have lots of autonomy.
Proven experience as a Software Trainer is essential, and you must have accounting qualifications – CIMA, ACCA, AAT, or be QBE from working in an accounting and finance job before moving into software training (or the other way round!). To £38k and many benefits which include car allowance, work from home, choose your own tech, health care, flexible hours, earning extra holidays scheme and death in service benefit.
Your role will be to work with education businesses as they move across to cloud software and provide a full package of training on accounting & finance solutions to independent schools in the UK and globally, so this is WebEx & video based as well as some on-site work in the UK.
The company are one of the leaders in business & financial software for the private education sector, and their software solution has a heavy element of accounting & finance to it. It is not a piece of school software covering exams, timetabling, parents' portals etc; it is a business software package for the back-office side of private educational establishments.
Ideal background:
More than 2 years as a Software Trainer or Training Consultant on business software
An accounting qualification such as AAT, CIMA, ACCA or something similar or QBE from real world experience working in accountancy
Ability to learn quickly, highlight features & benefits of a software product & communicate instructions clearly
Enthusiastic and passionate about training, you are someone who enjoys imparting your knowledge to others and helping them get the most out of their software
You have previously provided training for business users, clients or colleagues, or in house teams. This could include webinar, video, virtual training, classroom based, and / or training on client sites, and you are happy with one to one or group training sessions
Skilled at writing training documentation including creating customised manuals, and user guides, and material for live presentations and webinars.
You deliver appealing finance software training, communicating engagingly, empathetically, and effectively They would like someone who is bright and intelligent, organised, outgoing, and adaptable, who can work under pressure and who manages their own workload efficiently. You have a good business brain and can understand the quirks and specialities of each school and create material and training programs that will help them understand the software and use it to its full advantage.
