Leader Education is currently recruiting for a Science Secondary Teacher to work at a specialist SEMH school based in High Wycombe.

The school supports students across Key Stages 2, 3 & 4 with social, emotional, and mental health needs who, for various reasons, are no longer attending mainstream school.

The school are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Teacher with experience of working with children with SEMH needs.

Job:

·Plan, prepare and deliver a range of lessons with a focus on Science

·Teach in a therapeutic and holistic environment

·Ensure that learning is accessible and inclusive for all learners

·Provide fun and engaging lessons, accessing hard to reach learners

·Direct learning support assistants assigned to the classroom and work supportively/collaboratively as part of a team.

You:

·QTS / QTLS / PGCE

·Engaging and fun

·Dynamic, resilient, and thick skinned.

·Motivational and inspiring

·Have a genuine passion for SEND and/ or SEMH

·Excellent communication skills

·Able to diversify lessons and be able to reach learners at various levels and abilities

This is a full-time, long-term position with the potential to be made permanent to start immediately.

Location: High Wycombe

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Permanent

Pay: 23K – 32K per annum
