Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant

Are you a psychology graduate who would like to support pupils within a school setting?

Do you have passion and experience working with Social, emotional, and mental health difficulties?

Tradewind is currently working with an 'outstanding' school in High Wycombe (Buckinghamshire) that caters for primary aged pupils with social, emotional, mental difficulties. This fantastic School is a teaching school which caters for primary aged pupils that have a range of complex needs such as ADHD, ADD, ODD and ASC. They have excellent facilities, a broad and balanced curriculum to enable every pupil to succeed.

What we offer:

Full-time graduate T.A roles that can progress onto teacher training if desired
Pay Rates between £70 and £80 per day

Criteria:

Degree qualified
GCSE A-C's
Experience supporting individuals with additional needs
Knowledge of complex SEMH difficulties
Additional SEN courses completed (highly desirable)
Happy to work with primary and secondary aged pupils on a 1:1 basis
Confident dealing with conflict and challenging behaviour
Effective communicator and a team player
Would like to potentially progress onto teacher training
Available to interview before the festive break and start in Jan
DBS on the update service or willing to complete asapIf successful, you will be joining a fantastic team who support every member of staff who joins. You will work on a 1:1 basis with pupils across the primary phase.
