Nursery Practitioner, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, HP11 1NT

We are recruiting for Nursery Nurses to join our client's fabulous expanding nursery which is based in High Wycombe. Successful candidates will be passionate and confident about working with children and must have good communication skills.

Our clients High Wycombe nursery is set within a large detached Georgian house which has been extensively refurbished to provide exceptional childcare facilities, including great outdoor space. They have dedicated spaces for children aged under 2 years old, children 2-3 years old and for children aged 3 to 5 years old. Each room reflects the seven areas of learning as prescribed in the Early Years Foundation Stage and is designed to be accessible to every child.

Our client's nursery has created a space that is safe, modern and a special place to work. They have created a positive, happy environment for staff that promotes growth and results in staff staying with them for many years to come.

Hours: All year round, Full time permanent position, 40 hours a week.

We will consider Part time hours, for example 2-3 full days a week.

Salary: starting above minimum wage, up to £10.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, to be discussed at interview stage.

The successful candidate will:

Have a minimum NVQ Level 2 Childcare qualification or equivalent, level 3 is preferable.
Possess a working knowledge of the Early Years Framework
Be able to work well in a team.
Have the ability to enhance and develop children's learning through play.
Be able to monitor and complete essential observations.
Be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude.
Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Have recent experience working in an early year setting.
