Family Support Worker

Are you an experienced Family Support Worker looking for your next role in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire?

Tradewind recruitment is currently looking for an experienced Family Support Worker to join this highly sought-after Primary School in High Wycombe. The role is to start in January and would ideally be on a temporary to permanent contract. This is a full-time, long-term role for the rest of the academic year (minimum) with working hours of 8:30-4:30 at a salary of £25,744. The school are looking for someone with experience working as a Family Support Worker in Education.

As a family support worker, you will:

· Ensure safeguarding systems are used effectively to keep children safe

· Advise, assist, and support parents/carers

· Promote and safeguard the welfare of the children in line with the schools' policies

· Discuss with, and support staff in dealing with child protection concerns that arise

To join and be successful in this role you will need to:

· Have experience working as/alongside a family support worker

· Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

· CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible

· Legal right to work in the UK
