Job Title: Yard Supervisor – Builders Merchant

Location: High Wycombe

Salary: £26,000 – £30,000

We are currently working with a leading supplier of building materials. Working as a Yard Foreman/Manager you will be responsible for the effective management of the yard and ensure that customers receive a fast, friendly and effective service, whilst maintaining yard safety and security.

We are looking for someone with the right attitude and behaviours. Someone who is eager to learn and really develop themselves and others.

Responsibilities:

* Managing and taking overall responsibility for all yard staff, and any customers who enter the yard.

* Assisting customers as required

* Loading and unloading vehicles

* Accurately picking and checking orders

* Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment

* Some computer/administrative work

Experience:

* Forklift licence

* Builders Merchant/Building Products experience

* Computer literate

Personality:

* Hard worker who can lead from the front

* A confident, professional and friendly manner

* Organised with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

* Excellent communication skills

* The ability to multi task, prioritise and work under pressure
