Our client, an industry leader in its division, is seeking a full time Warehouse Operative who can operate a forklift. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is reliable and looking to take control of their own workload.

Hours of Work: 8.30am-5pm (Mon-Fri) – with 1 hour for lunch

You will be expected to assist staff in a variety of duties when required and full training on their product range will be provided.

Your main responsibilities will include:
• Placing purchase orders for stock items
• Expediting purchase orders for stock/sales order items
• Off-loading deliveries and identifying/matching purchase orders to correct sales orders
• Recording all delivery notes and booking into the ERP system
• Booking couriers to collect consignments from the warehouse
• Ensuring all shipments leave the warehouse on time and recording/reporting on time delivery metric
• Recording all shipments in the ERP system
• Carrying out a fortnightly stock count, recording and reporting stock levels and assessing stock re-order requirements using all available information
• Ensuring the warehouse is always kept clean and tidy
• Delivering urgent parts to site as required
• Collecting urgent orders from suppliers as required
• General warehouse duties

Special Requirements:
• Experience in warehouse operations (including manual handling)
• Current forklift licence
• Organised/motivated/ability to prioritise
• Strong work ethic with a “can do” attitude
• Enthusiasm, drive and a “can do” attitude
• Clean UK driving licence
• Good written English skills
• Knowledge of Sage/similar ERP system (desirable)
• Computer literate
• Good team member
