Universal Search group have an requirement for a Warehouse Manager in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. Our client is looking to take somebody on straight away, there will be 1 Interview, and for any successful candidates the start date would be immediate.

Responsibilities

* Maintains goods receipt, warehousing, picking, packing and distribution operations by writing and implementing operational procedures.

* Optimises warehouse operations by establishing and monitoring relevant KPIs

* Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with SAP stocks

* Maintains and improves warehouse functionality by regularly optimising stock locations and improving the layout of the warehouse.

* Completes warehouse operational requirements

* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

* Represents the warehouse within the wider Operations team and manages the relationship with Customer Service to optimise the customer experience.

* Contributes to team effort as needed.

The Candidate

In view of the involvement in the organisation and the role itself, the successful candidate should have the following qualifications, background, and personal style;

Education/ Professional Experience

* Experience in a warehouse leadership role

* Previous experience of quality management within a warehouse

* A Level Education

* Minimum 4 GCSE’s including English & Maths

* Being able to demonstrate strong organizational skills

* Eye for detail and accurate

* Good spoken communication manner and style

Personal Competencies

* Energetic, straight-forward, and performance-driven professional with strong execution abilities

* Strong eye for detail and organized.

* Process driven.

* Willing to do a diverse range of tasks as and when required including picking and packing.

Hours of work

The standard working week will be 40 hours

Salary

£30,000-£32,000 per annum
