Warehouse Coordinator

Hours of work are Monday – Thursday 8am – 17pm and Friday 8am – 4pm

Our client has an opportunity for an organised professional to manage the warehouse operations, including stock control and stock levels to ensure its smooth and efficient running. You will identify and implement improvements to processes and procedures, overseeing best practice and maintaining excellent H&S standards. You’ll monitor goods in and out, maintaining stock control and ensuring production of orders. You’ll be expected to coordinate delivery schedules and review transport costs and efficiency, making sure that all orders are delivered on time. You’ll take responsibility for all warehouse, spiral production operatives and delivery drivers, so the ability to manage a variety of projects and multi-disciplinary teams is essential.

With experience of managing a busy warehouse, you will understand logistic and stock control processes and will be able to implement improvements within the warehouse. Customer-focused and able to meet deadlines and agreed timescales, you will be adept at organising and planning multiple tasks and staff. You’ll have experience of managing a team and employee related matters to ensure that individuals are able to complete the required work to the best of their ability. Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that you have a full UK driving licence.
