The primary role of the Customer Service Manager is to manage the smooth and efficient operation of the Sales Office and the associated Sales Order Processing, Partner Support and Shipping activities.
The role of Customer Services Manager requires a diverse range of organisational, team management and communication skills. There will be significant levels of external and internal communication, including direct liaison with Customers, the Manufacturing, Technical and Sales teams, including with the Elga LabWater Manufacturing facility in Shanghai to facilitate export shipments from China. After suitable training, the Customer Services Manager will be expected to acquire 'advanced user' capability for the JD Edwards ERP system, and so act as the primary contact with the IT Support team regarding Sales office operational requirements, problems or ERP queries.
The role comprises of;
● Diverse range of organisational, team management and communication skills
● Internal and external communication including liaison with manufacturing
● To ensure customer expectations are met, order processing, shipping and reporting deadlines are achieved
Requirements:
Demonstrable experience of having worked in a Customer Service role as a Team Leader or Manager
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong team building skills
Team player with a real sense of delivering great support and service both internally and externally
