Activities Coordinator – The Role:
If you have the energy and enthusiasm to assist us in achieving our goal of making life better for our students, we have the ideal opportunity for you to join our Student Activities team.
The Activities Coordinator for Competitive Sport will support the Student Activities Manager in increasing the number of students participating in competitive sporting activity and provide operational support for all clubs and teams operating within the Athletic Union.
Supporting the Union’s ongoing aim to improve the student experience through sport and physical recreation opportunities, the successful applicant will work with other members of the team to support the wider Student Activities Department, in particular our sustainability and charity fundraising activities.
Activities Coordinator – The Candidate:
The post would be ideally suited to someone with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
You will have an understanding of sport and current good practice guidelines as well as experience in sports administration and organising and delivering events and activities.
Knowledge of University sport and having worked with students is desirable although not essential.
