A not for profit organisation who provide a range of services to help businesses run more effectively require a Sustainability Consultant to work with businesses and identify energy and resource efficiency projects which they can apply for through grant funding. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental and carbon mitigation.
This is a full time home based role and all equipment is provided.

Salary: £35,019 p.a. CIRCA + 10% Non-contributed pension + Health Shield + Other benefits

The Role
Reporting to the Programme Manager you will have the following duties:
-Identify and encourage businesses to apply for a grant.
-Work with the customer to enable them to make savings through energy and resource efficiencies.
-Provide support to SMEs to help identify solutions which best meet the energy needs of the business.
-Ensure all the key outputs are delivered in accordance with the project plan.
-Maintain an accurate record of finances for the budget management purposes.
The Person
Educated to degree level you will have the following experiences:
-A degree in an Environmental Science is advantageous.
-A good understanding of carbon mitigation is essential to the role.
-Previous experience working with industrial/manufacturing businesses is advantageous.
-Experience identifying, engaging, and working with key partners to promote a project or service
