An excellent opportunity has arisen for a junior/graduate environmental consultant. Suitable for a junior/graduate starting out with up to 2 years’ experience within environmental or sustainability services.

Description:
Assist in providing effective environmental or sustainability services to clients, either in one specialist discipline or as a generalist, to meet the agreed aims and objectives in terms of time, cost and quality.
Key tasks will be in one or more of the following service areas, depending on need, interest and experience:
Environmental project management – conducting site inspections, audits and data analysis. Sustainability strategy – contributing to sustainable design and assisting with sustainable appraisals reveiws.
Environmental management system (EMS) development – writing procedures, conducting internal audits and liaising with external auditors. Environmental impact assessment (EIA) – working with the Consents Practice Ecology services and Environmental Permitting – Assisting in obtaining environmental consent.
Qualifications:
Batchelors degree in relevant subject.
Keen interest in one or more of construction, infrastructure, property or energy sectors.
Good interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate issues and ideas effectively.
Able to demonstrate commitment to company values: honesty, respect, integrity & trust, collaboration, and accountability
Understand environmental and sustainability principals and policy issues.
Collect data, analyse, evaluate, and plan solutions.
Desirables:
Affiliate or graduate membership of a relevant professional institute (e.g. IEMA, CIEEM).
Masters degree in a relevant subject.
Some relevant work experience in environmental or sustainability related projects
