Health and Safety Advisor required on a contract basis to carry out site inspections, compile and deliver reports for civil's project works plus some associated M&E.

This is a full time role to start as soon as possible and initially running until the end of March 22 but with the possibility of being extended if funding is available, which is likely.

Project sites are across Anglia and the South East including; East Anglia / Hertfordshire / North London / Oxfordshire / Hampshire / Kent / London.

Projects include flood defences with some tidal gates, barriers and other methods of protection.

Qualifications and Experience

You will have demonstrable experience operating as a Health and Safety Advisor in the Construction/Civils sector. Experience of flood defense projects is not essential. Being capable of managing your own work load and diary. Ideally you will hold an auditor qualification in addition to recognised safety qualifications i.e. NEBOSH General/Construction Certificates and preferably further qualifications such as Diploma or NVQ.

The contractor will be responsible for assessing IR35 status.

Rate will be c£40-45 p/h assuming outside IR35 status + mileage and expenses
