Site Manager required in Essex
GVR Solutions are currently representing a small and expanding civil engineering and groundworks contractor based in Essex who are looking for a Site Manager to initially work on an Education extension project in High Wycombe with future projects being based in London, Essex and Hertfordshire.
Site Manager responsibilities:
* Integral interface between internal commercial, procurement and operations team and external contractors and suppliers. This is a key aspect in order to mitigate potential issues and ensure consistent quality and standards are maintained with regards to health and safety and product delivery.
* Document control and record keeping. You will be required to fill out and maintain internal and external documentation. All design changes will need to be reported back to the internal commercial team so that the correct action is taken
* High level of health and safety is maintained at all times
* Manage and direct labour aided by an on-site supervisor
* Programme works to ensure deadlines are maintained and allocation of internal resources (Plant, labour and materials) are utilised in the best possible way
Requirements:
* Experience working on groundworks and civils packages
* Experience working on residential and education projects
* Experience working as the no.1 Manager
* SMSTS
* CSCS
* First aid
