Senior Quantity Surveyor – Retirement Living project

This leading main contractor has an immediate requirement for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to start immediate on a large new build project in High Wycombe. You will work on an initial 4-6 month contract however, it is very likely to progress into a longer term contract if it goes well.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be based on site and report to the visiting Managing Quantity Surveyor. There will be a chance of flexibility of remote working initially but most of the work will be done from the site. This is a great freelance opportunity to work on a long term scheme that has only just started 4 months ago and is "in the ground".
For this Senior Quantity Surveyor role you will initially step in and take control of the procurement for the project on a number of key packages such as brickwork, metal work, drylining, roofing etc.

You will as Senior Quantity Surveyor, need to draw on your many years of new build project experience and of projects over £20m in value. This will need Senior Quantity Surveyors applying to be fully able to work with minimal supervision and push the projects procurement forward. Ideally care home or retirement living project experience would be ideal but not essential. A Quantity Surveying qualification is essential for this role and ideally over 10yrs experience.
