Mobile Electrical Project Engineer

Format: Electrical Contractor

Location: London and Home Counties

The role can be either contract or permanent with potential for immediate start

On behalf of our client, a lighting controls and systems contractor, we are seeking a Electrical Project Manager who will be commissioning, setting to work and witnessing the lighting control scope

Responsibilities

Documentation

* Prepare installation drawings showing port details for lamps and sensors

* Use template O&Ms to generate project specific O&Ms

* Use template RAMS to generate project specific RAMS

* Issue daily SARs

* Issue daily Perspective snag reports for site attendances

Site Work

* DALI addressing

* LonWorks network commissioning

* IP network configuration of routers, gateways, and user interfaces Configurations of peripherals, such as sensors, scene panels and switch interfaces

* Software configuration, such as grouping, scene control, corridor hold and daylight regulation

* Client training

Management Tasks

* Attend Sales to Project handover

* Attend site to check on installation progress

* Provide tool box talk to explain installation and commissioning procedure

* Oversee witnessing and obtain sign-off of controls

* Liaise with office for any RMA issues for damaged/faulty equipment

* Liaise with Sales/Contract Manager for additional days or additional materials quotations

* Regularly back-up and archive project databases and documentation to the Vault.
