Gilmartins are well established in the social housing sector and carry out reactive repairs for local councils and housing associations.

We are looking to recruit experienced trades who are willing to work as multi traders and have worked in the social housing sector (not new build construction).

We are recruiting in High Wycombe and are looking for people who live locally to these locations, for example within 20-30 minutes’ drive.

This is a permanent full-time position requiring travel around High Wycombe. We provide a company van with fuel card, company mobile/PDA. Hours of work are 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday with one Saturday in four required.

Your main trade should be Carpentry or Plumbing but you will need to be able to complete patch plastering, tiling, floor laying (lino), painting & decorating and basic electrics (for example replacing like-for-like sockets or lights)

The role is to –

* Carry out property repairs and maintenance works – social housing

* Working to Scope of Works on PDA for each job
