Large and well respected M&E contractor is looking for an experienced M&E Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a high-end new build project in High Wycombe, with scope to move on to similar projects in the surrounding areas on a temp / permanent basis.

The role will will report to the Contracts Manager whilst overseeing the site management team and appointed subcontractors. Candidates with both mechanical and electrical backgrounds would be considered but a working knowledge of both M&E packages is essential.

Key skills and experience required : –

Experienced Project Manager working within the M&E Building Services sector is essential.
Proven track record of managing large commercial projects
Manage sub-contractors and site staff
Excellent communication skills
Strong management skills
Ensure Projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Relevant Qualifications and Certificates including SMSTSDuties and Responsibilities include:

Monitor, control and execute the project specific delivery strategy
Carry out all pre-construction activities in support of the design prior to the commencement of the construction period
Influence the design process to ensure quality, philosophy, profitability, and timescales are met
Proposals of plant and materials to meet the required timeframes whilst ensuring technical, quality and financial performances are met for agreement by Contracts Manager / Designer
Take responsibility for all day-to-day aspects of projects, working closely with other key players to achieve required outcomes
Be an active role in the preparation of financial reports
Work with each project Quantity Surveyor to support the completion of all commercial activities within a timely manner
