After a successful 2021 and a targeted 1000% (one thousand!) increase in turnover for 2022, our client who are a specialist M&E contractor within the Modular Build Industry are seeking a Junior Mechanical or Electrical Project Manager to join their team as part of continued future growth plans.
As a Junior M&E Project Manager you will be a key hire for the firm and be mentored by the lead Contract Manager with the aim of training and developing you into a number one Project manager who can oversee the end-to-end delivery of high-profile projects.
THE COMPANY
This company are the exclusive sole Building Services Contractor for an established and highly successful consultancy led contractor that deliver end to end design and build projects within the Healthcare, Defence and Education Sectors.
With a turnover of £1m in 2021 they are on target to turnover £10m in 2022 with an order book of work that progresses far into 2023 and beyond.
Being exclusive to the Modular Build industry they are focused on continuous evolvement of efficient processes and systems to maximise high quality delivery of mechanical and electrical installation with a key focus on Sustainability and Net Zero Carbon outputs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Junior M&E Project manager you will be responsible for:

Regular site visits to assess the progress of installation on the electrical power, lighting, communication and mechanical, heating, ventilation, plumbing works.

Motivate and encourage Mechanical & Electrical trades on site
*
Report to senior management on progress of site works
*
Shadow and learn from senior managers within the business
*
Self-motivate to further study and learn necessary building and technical regulations / standards
*
Be involved in operational, commercial, design and planning processes on projects
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND
To be a successful Junior M&E Project Manager you will need to:
* Have 2-4 Years’ experience as a trainee Mechanical or Electrical or Building Services – Project Manager, Project Engineer, Site Manager or Site Supervisor working on construction and installation
*
Be HNC / HND, Degree, NVQ or City & Guilds qualified in Mechanical or Electrical or Building Services Engineering
*
Be ambitious and headstrong and motivated to learn and develop in a fast paced, quickly growing business
*
Be comfortable travelling daily to sites around the South of England within the M4 / M40 / M1 regions (Berks / Bucks) – full driver’s license required.
