Coinford is a groundworks and concrete frame specialist that delivers contracts ranging from £1million to £50million throughout London and the South East of England.
We have a new opportunity for an Assistant Buyer to join our busy and successful Procurement department working out of our Head Office, Redeham Hall.
This role is ideally suited to someone who is currently working within or has knowledge of the Construction industry and is looking for the next step in their career; or an individual with extensive industry knowledge that has excellent communication and negotiation skills and is keen to establish a career in procurement.
Our Procurement team is responsible for sourcing and purchasing all materials and services required on site, at the best value. The role will involve working within this team and assisting them by taking phone calls, recording orders and tracking the flow of materials onto our sites.
This is a busy and challenging role that needs an individual able to work on their own initiative or as an effective team member, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, as well as resilience and a sense of humour for when things don’t go according to plan.
This role is ideal for a candidate who is proficient in all aspects of general admin' duties , in the use of Word and Excel, an excellent communicator (verbal & written) with a keen eye for detail .
