A new opportunity for an Assistant Estimator / Estimator to join an industry leading interior fit-out and refurbishment sub-contractor based in High Wycombe. The company provide solutions to commercial workspaces using innovative design, manufacturing and installation. The role will suit a recent graduate or someone who has got experience working in a relevant position within the construction industry and looking to develop into a successful Estimator.

The suitable candidate will have knowledge of the construction industry and understand the position of an Estimator. It is essential that the candidate has a minimum or Mathematics and English GCSE's as this will be a technical position that requires a strong communicator.

Estimator Position Overview

Receive enquiries from the Estimating Manager
Send out enquiries for materials and sub-contract items
Receive and evaluate prices for materials and sub-contractors
Build up pricing on an in-house estimating system or Excel
Liaise with the sales team
Present pricing to Estimating Manager for finalisation before submitting the price

Estimator Position Requirements

Estimating experience within a sub-contractor
Commutable distance of High Wycombe
GCSE's in Mathematics and English as a minimum
Computer literate
Strong communicator
Willingness to learn
