Are you an experienced Bodyshop Manager looking for the next great opportunity?
Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a hugely successful company who are looking to add an enthusiastic, motivated Bodyshop Manager to their team.
This business is brilliant at retaining and developing staff and offers fantastic progression opportunities within the Automotive Industry.
This role would be suitable for a Bodyshop Manager who has a minimum of three years experience in a similar role, preferably within a main dealer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As an experienced Bodyshop Manager, you will be required to:
* Liaise with customers, insurance companies and colleagues to help ensure vehicle body repairs are carried out efficiently and correctly.
* Be responsible for the smooth running of all aspects of the business, from the vehicle repairs to accounts, staff provision and progression.
* Supervision of staff including; estimators/VDAs, SMART repair technicians, panel beaters and paint sprayers.
* Provide a high standard of work and customer care must be first class.
* Attention to detail and excellent organisation skills are essential qualities for this key role within the organisation.
DESIRED SKILLS
* Experience working as a Bodyshop Manager, ideally within a main dealer
* Full UK Driving Licence
* The ability to work in a fast paced environment
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build a strong relationship with both customers and colleagues
* Systematic, highly organised with a keen eye for detail
* You will have the ability to work within given timescales and the ability to manage all aspects of vehicle repairs
* You will also be conversant with current equipment and possess an aptitude of technical skills
* The right person will be a team player who works well under pressure and has a passion for both customer service and keeping up to date with the latest automotive technologies
* Experience using Audatex, Autoflow and Glassmatix or similar software
* Computer literate, preferably with experience of using Kerridge
