Our client is a tech business who are looking to hire an Office Manager to join their team in High Wycombe.
The Role of the Office Manager
Reporting to the owners you will be responsible for the smooth running of back office functions:
HR
Implement, manage, and report on the entire career life cycle. Employee relations, Training and recruitment
Manage the flow of staff into the business through appropriate advertisement and recruitment management
Manage the contractual and probation processes Complete checks on new starters in accordance with company policy
Ensure appropriate induction for new staff
Assist in the management of appraisal and performance management processes
Management of disciplinary, exit, and leaver processes
Accounting
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
Preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts
Preparation of annual budgets
Review financial performance against budgets showing variances
Prepare and review business scenarios
Prepare ready for submission quarterly VAT returns
Maintaining and reconcile balance sheet control accounts monthly
Preparing financial analysis, KPI, and performance reports as required
Supervise the collating payroll information
Supervise the Accounts Assistant
The Candidate for Office Manager
Experience of a similar role in an SME
Must be fully conversant with Xero, Microsoft Excel and Word
Experience of working in small/family businesses an advantage
