Title: Commercial Assistant, High Wycombe
Salary:£30,000 – £36,000 per annum, subject to experience

Due to continued growth our client is looking to introduce a permanent Commercial Assistant to their team. The successful candidate must have proven experience in managing contracts & bids, NDA's, pricing, and ideally have strong marketing knowledge. This will be a varied role working extremely closely with the sales team, marketing function, Finance Director and Managing Director.

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

Review customer contract documents, company version of NDA & any third-party contract documents and present recommendations to MD and FD. These to also be reviewed with company solicitor & Technical Director as appropriate
Manage the profitability of each proposal – identifying any risk and highlight to management
Maintain price matrix template for costs and margin analysis
Maintain liaison with suppliers and facilities, and play a key advisory role in the selection of all major contractors
Marketing support through proposals, presentations, PR initiatives or media campaigns
Support MD & FD with forecast and budget planning
Ensure that relevant tender announcements are identified, and assess opportunities with other members of senior management team
Lead proposal team in preparing timely submission of bids
Prepare and coordinate sales proposals and manage the order process
Supervise the preparation and recording of sales transactions through the CRM
Promote the Company internally, to keep non-sales staff aware of Company progress and activities
Supervise the preparation, issue, and update as necessary, price lists for standard-priced products
Maintain data and report as required by Managing Director
Maintain reporting spreadsheets and provide statistics required
Ensure that all Sales and Marketing procedures are carried out as required
Review existing procedures and instigate change as appropriate
Check incoming e-mail reports and related reports for sales team
Provide commercial and marketing input to Monthly ReportWhat we are looking for:

Strong and proven commercial awareness
Previous experience in managing contracts, bids, NDA's and pricing is essential
Ability to demonstrate experience in producing marketing strategies, putting them in place and delivering initiatives and campaigns
Financial awareness
Confident working knowledge of Salesforce and all Microsoft programmes including publisher
Self-motivation
Work effectively within a Team
Ability to work under pressure
Effective time management
Excellent record keeping
Attention to detail
Location: High Wycombe – not far from the M40 exit, onsite parking available
