We're looking for a talented Tax Trainee Accountant to work for our client.

They want to recruit someone who has limited work experience or has recently graduated and is highly motivated to develop a career in tax accounting.

The Role:

Reporting to the Tax Manager and based in the company's High Wycombe office, as the Tax Trainee Accountant you will be primarily responsible for working with the team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of technical personal or corporation tax services.

In the job you'll be tasked with the following:

– Completing standard income tax returns/corporate tax returns to the required level

– Communicating effectively with colleagues and hm revenue & customs

– Regularly update appropriate tax spreadsheets/databases

– Completing time sheets accurately and on a timely basis

– ATT training which includes studying consistently under the supervision of a company course provider

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this Tax Trainee Accountant role will have limited work experience, however, is highly motivated and willing to learn.

In addition, you'll need the following:

– Basic understanding of income tax and capital gains tax/corporation tax and business tax

– Ability to set up a basic tax file

– Excellent communication skills

The ideal person for the role will be the following:

– Self-motivated to study and puts concentrated effort into exam study and link exams
– Responsible for work tasks and quality, managing own workload and deadlines under supervision

– Aware of cost implications of actions and meeting set budget requirements

The Package:

Basic salary: £24,000 per annum
