My client, a well-established firm of Accountants based near High Wycombe are seeking an experienced Tax Senior to join their established team. You will focus on Personal Tax and be the key point of contact for a portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for a portfolio of (Apply online only) clients
Prepare tax returns accurately
Communicate with clients and answer their queries
Communicate with HMRC
Complete all work within budget
Identify planning opportunities and bring to attention of Manager
Gain and maintain technical competence
Completion of tax returns to meet client and HMRC deadlines
Respond to client communications on a timely basis
Management of workflow
Ensuring all necessary information is available and being able to recognise if it is not
Chasing clients for tardy informationRequirements:

Minimum A level standard
GCSEs including maths and English
CTA preferred but not essential. Alternatively qualified by experience and will consider ACCA studiers
3 years experience in a Tax department within an accountancy firm
Numerate
IT literate
Able to work under pressure
Eye for detail
