Marc Daniels are currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join a well-known market leading company. This role is based in High Wycombe with the option of hybrid or home working.

Responsibilities:

Primary contact for the for the division for all financial matters.
Ensure the company's financial controls and processes are followed including ensuring completion and reviewing account reconciliations.
Prepare accurate site financial reporting in line with the company's timetable including full profit & loss accounts, budgets and forecasts with full variance analysis and commentary.
Lead the investigation and query resolution for any issues that arises on the divisions P&Ls.
Provide full analysis on the capex spend including rolling forecasting.
Support the operational teams in the preparation of financial business cases for investment, capital expenditure and change programmes resulting in cash flow and business profit improvement.
Have a full understanding of all the divisions data and processes ensuring the quality and integrity of the data available is fit for purpose and is captured in the best way possible to enable the highest quality.
Identify and define process improvements to provide the business with more clarity on container requirements to enable and support Business decisions. Work with the required areas of the business to implement any changes required.
Pull together the data, setting up various fully automated MI reporting and maintain key performance data to various areas of the business
Challenge and monitor any inconsistencies in the reporting to correct issues or identify potential processes that may not have been followed.
Proactively support the business in identifying areas of continuous improvement, focusing on both commercial and process/system opportunities to drive value.
Assist in the development of strategic planning to align the function to the wider business's growth and help shape the functional structure and organisation to meet future requirements.

Requirements:

Qualified or studying towards an accountancy qualification
Experience of working with and supporting operational, commercial staff.
Advanced Excel with excellent analytical skills
Power BI and project management experience would be an advantage
Well organised with the ability to plan and prioritise
Resilient with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders
