An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the dynamic finance team at Hovis HQ in High Wycombe. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will have line management responsibility and will be responsible for the forecasting and reporting of the Group’s SG&A spend as well as being a key support on the forecasting and reporting of the Group’s cashflow. The role will have direct exposure to the Finance Director and other Senior Leaders in the business.

The Finance team is an integral and trusted part of the Hovis business and we will be looking for a collaborative, positive and energetic individual to join our friendly and supportive team.
Key Accountabilities
* Lead the SG&A, Exceptional Spend & other central budget and forecasting activity, ensuring accurate and timely submission with detailed analysis and understanding around spend activity and variances to previous forecasts.
* Manage the month end process to ensure reporting of central and Exceptional spend is accurate, and variances to budget and forecast are understood and communicated to the relevant business partners in a timely manner.
* Analysing the month end performance on central costs and Exceptional spend, latest forecast or budget, and preparing the explanatory decks for the Monthly Business Review, Exec Meetings and Board Meetings
* Key support for the bi-annual forecasting of cashflow, reviewing and consolidating inputs from others and advising on overall cashflow KPIs.
* Manage and develop one direct report (junior PQ)
Experience:
* Finalist or recently qualified Accountant – ACCA, CIMA or ACA
* Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload in order deliver high quality work to tight deadlines
* Strong working knowledge of Excel
* Team player with positive attitude
