We are currently looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join a growing company based in High Wycombe.

This is a stand – alone, temporary role, working from home.

Responsibilities:

Posting cash receipts daily from Bank to Finance system across several bank accounts all currencies
Reconciling and maintaining running cashflow forecasting in excel
Creating and supporting billing team with raising of invoices
Maintaining files to understand expected payment dates for all invoices due to be paid and chasing customers daily
Attending internal meetings with sales manager to escalate invoicing concerns and non payment
Preparing monthly aged debt report with detailed commentary on every single debt and actions
Credit check reviews
Highlighting customers exceeding credit terms and overdue invoicing via weekly reporting
Supporting billing teams with customer vat queries, billing queries and resubmitting invoices with correct PO details
Preparing specific client reporting each month
Chasing for Purchase Orders
Working closely with Billing team to identify reasons for non payment of invoices and making sure invoices have purchase orders in order for invoices to be paid
Maintain customer records in finance system to ensure all details are accurately reflected
Monthly Credit Note reporting to identify reasons for why those credit notes have been raised
Issuing customer statements weekly
Ensuring customers provide remittances to ensure cash is allocated correctly by invoiceTo be considered:

5+ years of credit control experience
Ability to work in a stand-alone credit control position
Ability to complete tasks under minimal supervision
A background in technology / communications / telecoms would be highly advantageous
Excellent organisational skills
High attention to detail with high level of accuracy
Confident user of excel, pivot tables and vlookups essential
Ability to work to tight deadlines with flexible attitude
