We are looking for an ambitious Commerical Manager with E-commerce experience to support our Managing Director and liaise with our office in Berlin.
This is a full-time role working for Technology Recycle Group (TRG). We are a circular economy company based in High Wycombe that offers mobile phone solutions including buyback programs and processing services. This is a high-visibility position liaising with colleagues across international markets. In this position you will be the face of the commercial team for TRG, owning the Profit and loss for our main business units, supervising two channel managers as well as all purchasing and selling activities including pricing and marketing.

Role Requirements:
* Completing weekly/monthly profit and loss reports and ad-hoc analyses for the business
* Reporting and management information for the company, including posting month end adjustments, completing/reviewing reconciliations, obtaining substantiation, completing analytical review of movements and providing commentary.
* Preparation of forecast and budget numbers and providing commentary and explanation of variances.
* Collaborate with international colleagues to consolidate financial information.
* Drive on improvements for existing processes to ensure they are as efficient as possible.
We are looking for a data rational professional to help develop the strategy for the media category ensuring performance of the media category, including P&L responsibility and cash/ inventory management.
You will help to manage change towards the creation of real category management and implement superior supply and demand management together with our experts from rebuy
Our successful candidte will think outside the box when it comes to our major challenges to increase relevant availability and engage with our existing customers
There will be an element of business development and develop our current market approach for both sides (buying and selling) further together with marketing, content, brand, CRM , data and product management
Define and implement relevant category management processes
Our successful candidate will have management experience of developing, mentoring, and inspiring a growing media team
Maintain and grow business within existing accounts
As part of the Senior Leadership team you will work closely with key stakeholders within the business including the Managing Director to bring in new business and the Operations Manager to manage workflow, you will be proficient in sales and be proficient in developing a sales pipeline, following up on existing leads.
Essential Criteria:
* Must have relevant academic background, e.g. business administration or management science as well as several years experience in category management, retail, e-commerce or business consulting
* Excellent analytical thinker, commercially sound and an expert in MS Excel
* Great communicator, both in the written word and verbally, and good project manager
* Hands on mentality, entrepreneurial spirit and proactive personality
* People management experience would be a big plus
We will be using Psychometric testing as part of the interview process, this will be used in conjunction with the interview output.
Ideally you will have experience of working in a retail environment with E-commerce experience as an Operations Manager, Commercial Manager or Technical Sales Manager
