Job Title: Business Analyst

Job Description:

The role is to provide analytical support to the business to help optimise the business efficiencies and improve profitability. You will obtain data from internal departments and external 3rd party partners to build reports and deliver recommendations across a variety of numerical and IT research and reporting tools to improve efficiencies vs KPIs.

Main Accountabilities:

* Gather, translate, and maintain records of business data across all business units

* Select the best reporting methods appropriate to the required analysis

* Ensure that qualitative and quantitative data analysis and research tools/databases are designed

* Trends or patterns in complex data sets are identified, analysed, and interpreted

* User-friendly dashboards, scorecards, analytic packs, reports, and visualisations are provided to the management team delivering actionable insights and recommendations on performance.

* A good working relationship is built with internal teams & external agencies

* A database of all agreed metrics, across all categories, is built and worked back over the previous 3 years, to ensure all data is captured

* Involvement of new CRM and ERP implementation

Principal Skills & Attributes Required:

* Exceptional ability to extract strategic insights from data

* Commercial or Retail Experience

* Experience of any ERP

* Broad International Finance Experience

* Excel experience particularly within Macros, Pivot Tables and charting techniques

* Analytical/numerical skills a must (numeric based Degree, or min. 2Yrs on job experience required). MBA or Doctorate preferred

* Experience building performance dashboards using Tableau or similar

* An understanding of Google Analytics.

* An understanding of D2C online platforms (Shopify, Facebook)

* Experience and understanding of database design

* Effective organisation skills with the ability to work alone or as part of a team on projects

* Attention to detail coupled with inquisitiveness essential

* Be methodical, organized and timely in your work.

* Ability to cope with pressure and tight deadlines

* Interpersonal and communications skills

* A desire to develop and grow with the needs of the business
