Recruitment Hunters are recruiting for an Accountancy Practice Audit Senior professional- Audit Senior for their Top 20 Accountancy Practice client based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

This new Audit Senior role has come about due to expansion. This highly acclaimed Accountancy practice firm are looking for a Qualified Audit Senior who is either ACCA / ACA qualified and from a Top 40 Accountancy Practice background. This excellent firm cover a wide range of audit, accounting and tax services to clients. In addition to commercial companies in service and manufacturing industries, the organisations we deal with include professional partnerships, landed estates, charities, IT operations and media and entertainment businesses. There will be scope to experience work across other offices down the line. ACA/ACCA

Main Responsibilities: – Audit Senior (Accountancy Practice)

The aim is to provide the required service in a professional and efficient manner tailored to give the client the benefit of good advice and maximum added value.
The successful applicant will provide complete and efficient back up to the audit department management team and the High Wycombe office partners.
This is a mixed role that will include undertaking audits and accounts work, both in the office and at client premises.
When working out of the office, the role will involve overseeing a small team.
The successful candidate will be expected to have responsibility for running group audits and for accounts preparation work, to include consolidations and cash flow statements.
Preparation of financial forecast models, business plans, reporting on internal controls, financial due diligence and other ad hoc projects will also be required from time to time.
The role will include supervising the work of more junior staff and liaising with tax staff, managers, the Partner and our clients, as necessary.
The role provides a good range of work for someone with solid technical skills and with a mixed background of audit and accounts work, wishing to build on his or her experience in a fast growing office that will provide opportunities for progression.
The audit team consists of 14 professionals ranging from Trainee to Senior Manager. The High Wycombe office have 3 partners 20 other support staff. The technical staff can be divided into two groups, tax and audit/accounts, although both groups are expected to work very closely together.Experience Required – Audit Senior (Accountancy Practice)

Do you have 2-3 years+ Accountancy Practice experience? (Essential)
Mixture of Audit & Accounts experience? (Essential)
Are you ACCA / ACA Qualified ? (Highly Desirable)
Supervisory experienced from an Accountancy Practice firm? (Essential)
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant and possess a wide range of audit and accounts experience with particular emphasis on audit expertise and preparation of statutory financial statements, ideally including consolidated group accounts.
Experience in charity accounting would be particularly advantageous.
Applicants will be motivated, well organised, commercially minded and have a clear perception of client requirements. In addition, they will possess good interpersonal skills, demonstrate initiative and be able to provide accurate work in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Furthermore, they should display a flexible, professional approach, and have the confidence and ability to establish credibility with partners and clients.
A natural team player is essential, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Applicants will be ACA/ACCA qualified with a good exam record.
Professional training experience should have been broad based with exposure to a good range of clients in both size and sector.
You should also have the right to work in the UK (Essential)The Audit Senior role, is a permanent position based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. Working Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:30. The Salary will be between £40,000 – £45,000 Depending on experience. Due to the current situation, this will start of to be home based and then in the future will be working from the firms office in High Wycombe. The firm would also consider a Semi-Senior Audit professional also for another role.
