An exciting position has become available for an experienced Bench Joiner to join our team in Hanslope near Milton Keynes, Bucks.

Since 1984, HINSON have been creating timber products that stand the test of time using traditional joinery methods. We are a family run company and only use timber from sustainable forests. From our location on the outskirts of Milton Keynes, we manufacture bespoke windows, doors, stairs and conservatories to suit traditional, listed and new buildings.

This Bench Joiner role is Initially based within the workshop, but you will also be required to visit customers onsite for installations. You will need to demonstrate a high standard of work and care in fitting and installing our quality products in customers’ homes nationwide, to meet building regulations.

Duties include all aspects of wood machining and assembly. Suitable Bench Joiner candidates must be able to complete projects from start to finish to set deadlines. This is a fast paced and rapidly growing company. Ability to hit the ground running and think on your own initiative is a must.

You will have a minimum of 2 years’ (after qualification acquired) experience and be confident in the daily operation of joinery machinery and tools, production of bespoke joinery through CAD / Solidworks drawings to final product and reporting progress to the production manager. You’ll also own your own hand tools and have a driving licence.
