Quality Inspector

Our clients based near Thame are looking for a Quality Inspector to join their busy, growing manufacturing team. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be an experienced Quality Inspector with existing knowledge of ensuring products & services provide a high level of quality which meets or exceeds customer expectations.

Main Duties:

* Approval of supplier manufactured products by confirming specifications, conducting required tests on both production and new products

* Product patrol inspections and Final inspections where required

* Documenting inspection results and identifying any trends

* Assisting with supplier returns, Quarantined parts and Customer Product Returns

* Promote a culture which ensures defined standards & expectations are always followed and met

* Participate in Continuous Improvement activities

* Assisting with NCR’s, 5Y’s and 1:31 where necessary, to help create operation improvement.

* Other tasks as required by the business

Experience Required:

* You will be an experienced Inspector with a QA/QC Background

* Worked in a quality or CMM focused environment for a minimum of 5 years (Mandatory)

* Experience of Manufacturing and production

* Experience of working within a busy team

* Prior experience working to LEAN

* Experienced and committed to continuous improvement

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30-5, Early Friday finish!

Salary: £25-26k per annum DOE
