HA70: Group Training Manager 

Location: Haddenham, West Buckinghamshire

Salary: £38,000- £42,000 Per Annum 

Overview for the Group Training Manager:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Group Training Manager on behalf of one of our clients.

Our client are looking for a dynamic and strong Team Leader and Manager, who will take charge and run the company’s existing Training Centre(s), with a view to expanding their services, in particular online course content and e learning packages. This is an exciting period for our client and they are looking for someone with the ability to lead all training activities from the front.

Duties & Responsibilities for the Group Training Manager:

Plan and manage all training activities, both for our customers and GGR Group staff.
Course design and session planning, including design of e learning packages
Planning/updating delivering (as required) a range of construction and health and safety related training courses.
Manage a team of Instructors and testers, across the group.
Produce and maintain a range of training databases for both customers and GGR Group staff.
Monitor GGR Group staff competencies and training, in order to maintain skills and knowledge.
May be required to travel between depots within the group.
Skills & Qualifications for the Group Training Manager:

Previous experience managing a training team/department
Experience in developing and implementing training programmes (Construction plant and equipment)
Excellent IT skills, including knowledge/experience in development of e learning packages
Strong leader, with a vision of driving and taking the training department forward
Good organisation, planning and management skills
Able to track performance of training programmes and recommend strategies for improvement
Create training materials and programmes to address business needs (internal and external)
Working with employees, HR and management to ensure achievement of training objectives
Hold a formal training/instructional qualification
Holder of CPCS or other plant related qualification (instructor/tester/operator)
Experience in plant/machinery training
Management qualification (e.g. NVQ, ILM in management)
