My client, based close to Thame, are looking for a Mini Crane Service Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

As Mini Crane Service Engineer you will:

* Undertake maintenance, service and repair of mini cranes and lifting equipment

* Provide knowledge and support in the event of plant failure

* Diagnosis of plant/equipment defects

* Maintain records for health and safety and customer service purposes

* Visit sites to repair plant/equipment defects

* Maintain and improve health and safety in the workplace

* All other workshop duties as deemed necessary

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

* Engineering experience – either electrical or mechanical

* Read electrical and hydraulic diagrams

* Mechanical background working on HGV’s, Fork Lift Trucks, Plant Machinery, Access Platforms could be advantageous.

* Understanding of health and safety requirements

* Customer Service Skills

* Communication Skills

* Administrative Skills

* Problem Solving Ability

* Resourceful with high attention to detail.

This role could be suitable for an individual with a mechanical background in HGV Vehicles/ Fork Lift Trucks, Plant Machinery or Access Platforms.

This role will be field based but you will be placed on a six month training program which will be a mix of workshop based work and some field work during this time.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8-5.30pm and salary range is £30-35,000. Holiday allowance is 22 days plus bank holidays
