My client, based close to Thame, are looking for a Forklift Truck and Telehandler Maintenance Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.

As Forklift Truck and Telehandler Maintenance Engineer you will:

* Diagnose and rectify faults

* Identify parts or components required to make suitable repair

* Visit sites to repair defects when necessary

* Inspect, test and certify safe to use all Electrical / Mechanical Plant in the fleet,

* Install and commission new machinery and equipment.

To be successful you must have:

* Field Service Engineer experience

* Be prepared to travel across the UK to attend customer breakdowns on site

* Have strong electrical and mechanical engineering experience

* Have an Engineering qualification

* Understand AC/DC motors and generator, wiring and distribution systems, pumps and hydraulics

* Have good problem-solving ability and be resourceful with good attention to detail.

This role is based both in a workshop and out on client site.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8-5.30 although flexibility may be need on occasion. Holiday allowance is 22 days plus bank holidays and salary range is c30-35k
