Field Service Engineer

Haddenham

Up to £35,000 + Overtime + Holidays (increasing with service) + Pension (matched at 4%) + Comprehensive training + Discretionary bonus + Call out payments

Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 17:30, Call out rota (1 in 3/1 in 4)

Service Engineer required for a distribution partner of a market leading cranes manufacturer. This is a recognised and established company winning awards within its field. The company can offer fantastic training and development and overtime opportunities.

Candidates can be from any plant, cranes, agricultural, mining, construction plant, materials handling / forklifts, HGV or similar are all welcome to apply. Ex-forces are encouraged to apply. The key skills requirement are knowledge and understanding of hydraulics and electrical diagrams.

You will work on a wide range of own brand manufactured cranes at a number of customer locations within the South East. This will include planned maintenance and reactive breakdown coverage. You will initially be workshop based for around 6 months where you will receive full and comprehensive training on all kit. The service territory can be varied, predominately covering London areas but also covering the majority of the south up to midlands. Once you are fully trained you will be in the field around 2/3 days a week and the rest spent on site.

The Role:

* Carry out planned field service, maintenance and repair activities on cranes

* Reactive breakdown

* Call out rota (1 in 3/1 in 4)

* To positively represent the company with clients

* Complete comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment

The Person:

* Will have good mechanical, hydraulics and basic electrical skills

* From any Plant/HGV/ex-forces backgrounds or similar
