JOB SUMMARY

This is a technical position within a highly motivated and integrated team of sales and engineering staff.

The position is office based, with the possibility of occasion UK travel for site visits, to meet with customers, or short duration international travel for training purposes. Under the current Covid -19 conditions it may be required to work from home for some periods. Any travel will be postponed until considered safe and will be compliant with government and health recommendations.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential

An interest in the construction and engineering sectors. Proficient with AutoCAD.

Competence in Office based tools such as Word and Excel. Understanding of Windows file structures.

Flexibility to adapt to varying types of work

Eager to learn company design tools and software. Team player.

Desirable
Experience with Autodesk Inventor but training is also available. Basic knowledge of Revit.

Basic understanding of FEA.

Basic knowledge of PTC Mathcad. Use of Microsoft Teams and Planner.

KEY TASKS

Production of drawings from basic design studies to detailed fabrication models. Review requirements & communicate proposals to customers and design professionals. Attend team meetings and support colleagues.

Regularly review own performance and ask for help or training when required.

In the fulfilling the above tasks it is expected that over 95% of working time is to be spent in the Thame office or home based as required by the Covid -19 situation.
