Senior Environmental Advisor

Our client are looking to recruit a Senior Environmental Advisor.

The role will be part of a small environmental team working within the construction team based in Great Missenden, Bucks.

The successful candidate will be required to have a relevant qualification such as BSc (or equivalent) in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Management or related subjects. You will have a minimum of two years’ experience as an environmental advisor on a construction project.

You will have a good understanding of UK legislation and practical control of water pollution, waste management, ecology, soils and air quality. Ideally, you will have a good understanding of chemistry as you may be involved in sampling and analysing lab samples. Experience of monitoring and management for issues such as air quality, noise and water would be beneficial. You will have good written and presentation skills.

Whilst working from an office in Great Missenden, you will need a full driving licence as you will be travelling to construction sites spread over a 10km radius of Great Missenden. You will be undertaking site visits and inspections of pre-construction and construction sites requiring walking for periods outdoors over natural and man-made terrain.
