Experienced Gardener – Nr Great Missenden

Our clients’ business was established in 2018 as they wanted to change the way gardens are created and maintained. They believe that with a friendly client relationship, any space can be made better, that plants should be the focus of what they do, and that gardening is best done with a smile!

They are now looking for an Experienced Gardener to join their ever busy team

They are a small garden maintenance team working at a range of domestic properties from their base near Great Missenden. They pride themselves on their personal service and high standards when it comes to maintaining gardens and as their business is rapidly growing they need someone as enthusiastic as they are to help ‘grow’ their business.

The successful candidate will report into the owner and have line management responsibilities for support and guidance to trainees.

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

• Practical experience and/or Entry Level Qualification in gardens and/or landscape management. NVQ level 1or 2, RHS level 1 or 2.

• Comprehensive plant knowledge, a keen interest in gardens and landscapes, familiarity with most gardening practices together with the use and maintenance of machinery e.g. mowers and strimmers.

• A willingness to work alongside and to support other staff and volunteers.

• Well motivated with an eye for detail and a desire to achieve a high standards, ability to work on own initiative.

You will need good written and verbal communication skills, good organisational skills, and a good understanding of Health and Safety issues.

A clean, valid driving licence is required for this position.
