Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias), Permanent position, Monday to Friday, days and backshift alternating weeks, No Night shifts, 28 days holiday plus stats, Salary up to up to £35K for the right person

Location of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer: Uxbridge

We are recruiting for an Electrical Biased Maintenance Engineer for a Food Client based in the Uxbridge area. Due to expansion within the business and further business wins they are looking to add additional expertise to their Engineering team.

This offers the opportunity for individuals seeking to work within a business that has great expansion plans and further progression throughout the next 3 years.

You will join an established yet proactive engineering team and be able to work on new equipment and existing equipment focussing on Continuous Improvement

Requirements for the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer :

Have a proven track record in an Engineering and fault-finding role gained from within a Food Manufacturing or FMCG Industry.
Qualified to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent, ONC mechanical/electrical engineering, BTEC level 3 in Electrical/Electronic Engineering)
Planned and Reactive Maintenance within Food or FMCG Environment
Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings/Schematics
Excellent attitude and passion towards their work and be willing to undertake further training.
Be involved in both electrical and mechanical reactive and pro-active maintenance.
Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Main aspects of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role:

Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure limited downtime.
Troubleshooting with various machinery including but not limited to production and packaging.
Work collaboratively within the Engineering team
Investigate means of improving plant productivity
Continuous improvement projects
Action any necessary repairs and ensure all measures taken are recorded so recurrent faults can be recognised.
